What do you do to keep yourself motivated during quarantine ?

It is rough time is it not ? Covid-19 swept the world of its feet. Before we knew we found ourselves quarantined as we watch, through our screens, the world as we know it vanishing.

Don't get wrong, I don't believe that this "the end", I sure hope not :D And we have every right to feel down about the whole situation. However, we can not just give in completely. We can't just hopelessly sit at home waiting for all of this to pass. We can't just put our lives on hold ( my thoughts and prayers for those who had theirs forcefully halted, however ).

So, what do you do to keep yourself motivated during quarantine ? I believe that the key is to remind yourself of the goals that you set for yourself before the covid-era. If you did not set goals for yourself, well, lucky you, here is your chance to do it. See, shifting our awareness and focus towards those goals would have several benefits.

First, it will help shield us from the unnecessary anxiety that comes with these kind of situations. And with the state of social media today, there is definitely a lot of unnecessary anxiety that is being spread through the web into our mind and soul.

Second, we can use this time to our advantage by reflecting on our goals, evaluating them, or re-evaluating, for that matter. I firmly believe that our perspective can shape our world. For that, you can consider the quarantine as a time-off that you have been granted to adjust to this new world and figure how you can emerge as a better person.

Last but not least, we are witnessing the birth of a new world, that is for sure. And life will still find a path. So, you can start preparing for that new world today instead of wasting your time worrying if we would survive. Because we will, hopefully with as little damage as possible, but we will survive.
